Where is chucks day off restaurant located
We started with the drink of the night which was a strawberry, grapefruit and vodka with ICE. They brought out a pail of different breads with a butter spread which all tasted very good. They were bringing out our appetizers and the guy slipped and spilled them all over the floor. Which made it take much longer than it should have for us to get the first course replacements.
We got poutine with lobster. I had never had poutine before this trip. This is a dish that is very popular in Canada. The dish is french fries covered in a gravy then topped with cheese curds. I got his famous jerk crab and it was wonderful!
Really made a greasy mess of his shirt? They where nice and all cleaned up the table. We let the waitress guide us as to what was best for dinner. For dinner Tommy had the pork chop,. These were the three best dishes or so she said for that evening. We all enjoyed our dinners and they were very large portions. I really wanted to try the brownie but the heat was just too much to sit there another 20 minutes so we got the check and buzzed on our way. Last summer Chuck and his partners opened their second restaurant in Montreal, Le Bremner, to great success.
For Chuck, cooking is about keeping it simple, using fresh ingredients and having fun. About the Host Chuck Hughes Chuck loves food. Cassie and I were recently joking about taking a trip to Montreal to eat at his restaurant.
Chuck owns a restaurant called Garde Manger in Montreal. Even cooler, this past weekend, after seeing Chef Hughes make Jerk Crab on his show like five times, I decided to ask Chef Hughes on twitter which brand of Jerk seasoning he recommends.
He actually promptly responded! I was pleasantly surprised, but Cassie was actually amazed. As with everything else we have a great team helping us keep on top of our paperwork, led by Jasmine and Melissa. We had a few massive tables in from out of town that came to us through some local concierges.
They seem to have figured out who to send to our place, and I guess they get enough positive feedback that they keep sending people.
This week was a really hard week for us and the kitchen staff was really pushed to their limits. He sold us our machine, and supplies us with our coffee. Music is a major part of the experience at our restaurant. They have every oil, spice and grain in the world. Seasoning Kings.
