Why fishborg blaster banned
Until Next Time KingofLullaby. Fishborg has some interesting uses, but it not being a hard once per turn is likely why it got banned. Now with Links, you got more to use this for, especially if we ever get Cyrstron Needlefiber, which sounds scary to see that and this in the same format.
As should be obvious and well known by given how long this card has been Banned, as well as how rampant its abuse was, this card makes Synchro Summoning very easy.
And to drop a Monster like say…Trishula, without any real effort, should be criminal. Perhaps it is, hence the Ban of this card. Too much power built in this one little card. The flashing from the eyes, the little pistol he has, and the cool blues in the water background and bubbles. Log In Sign Up. Keep me logged in on this device Forgot your username or password? With so many new cards coming out every year, a new archetype can be released that completely breaks an old card that doesn't do anything. In other cases, some cards get banned for being too good during their prime but have since fallen off in power and can return to the game without creating much impact.
Some cards should never return to the game, while others can re-enter the metagame and not make a dent. While it does lock its user out of those cards as well, Decks that focus entirely on Monster Cards can make amazing use out of it and use it with no downside.
So many Decks in the current metagame rely on Spell or Trap cards and losing the ability to even use them is way too powerful of an effect. The ability to destroy all Spell and Trap cards an opponent controls is an incredibly powerful one. However, "Harpie's Feather Duster" has been power crept with the even more powerful "Lightning Storm. While "Harpie's Feather Duster" is a solid card, it's not a game-breaking card anymore and can return to the game without causing a giant metagame shift.
So many cards want to be in the Graveyard in the current metagame, meaning the ability to set up the Graveyard while drawing cards is incredibly powerful. Not only that but "Graceful Charity" discards, meaning it can cause "Danger" Monsters' abilities to trigger as well.
