Where to find albino cavefish in wow

Comment by SFFCorgi I started fishing these with intent tonight, and I should point out that pools will also appear in Silverlight Cave, accessed from the Lower Silvermarsh - the pool icons will show through if you're fishing Upper Silvermarsh; and Avalanchion's Vault, under the Quaking Fields in the south.

Both have hostile NPCs, although the ones in the Vault are generally concerned with fighting each other. Running in and out of caverns isn't very speedy, but the pools are there for the fishing. Tried to farm them in the waters by Needlerock Chasm as some comments suggested going there. There were a couple of pools there but hardly any, and even with cross realm assist addon it was a slow slow process.

Decided to try the waters by Crimson Expanse instead and it was unbelievably better than Needlerock Chasm, my route started at the top of the lake and I just headed right down to the bottom and then went across to the smaller pools to the left on the map. With crossrealm assist I managed to get around 50 fish in about 15 or so minutes so I would definitely recommend fishing there instead of Needlerock Chasm!

Comment by jfoobar Another vote for Crimson Expanse. Several pools, many of which do not require mobs to be cleared either. Comment by Antyvas My preferred route for finding these pools is along the water at the Eastern edge of the Crimson Expanse, down into the Silvermarsh, and then also into the cavern there when a bunch have appeared underground. Grabbing a good amount of these for processing or direct sales on the AH can net you some excellent profits. Got my Albino Cavefish farm route today! You also have the option of crafting these into the Deepstone oil that other alchemists need for the Vial of the Sands Recipe.
